Dashboard – New Widget and Charts Enhancement

A new widget has been added – “IDU notice board” - which displays the release notes from 5.3.2 to the latest.

The “Expand Widget” option has been added to each widget.



The Filter  and Configuration Options  buttons have been added to the Charts:

Financial Budgeting

Centralised Exchange Rate - Members

In Main > Currency > Exchange Rate, Admin users can now indicate which currencies are applicable to the Member Remuneration Budget Type by selecting the switch.



Only the currencies with Member Remuneration switch selected under Main > Currency > Exchange Rate will be displayed on the Financial > Member Remuneration > Member screens.


Activity - Alternate Formula Identifier

An Alternate Formula Identifier field has been introduced to allow the admin user to associate a more user-friendly code with each input number, to make formula calculations easier to read and interpret.
The system will use the input or global assumption code by default, which can be replaced at any time by typing in an Alternate Formula Identifier. The formulas will then be updated automatically.
Captured Alternate Formula Identifiers can be used in the formula builder and imports.

Supporting Documents per Itemised Record

For the Itemised Budget type the users can now add the supporting documents per item.
Selecting an itemised Account – the “Item” dropdown becomes available.
Untick the “Apply to Account” switch to select the required item.

Supporting Documents per Itemised Record

The Account Information button   has been added at the Item level in the Itemised Budget Type, with the ability to upload the supporting documents per itemised record.
Item descriptions have been increased to 100 characters.

  Administrator Module Financial Budgeting Module Dashboard – New ‘Member Account & Component Recon’ Widget A new dashboard widget has been added to provide a reconciliation between the Member component values and the values rolled up to the budget at cost centre and account level. The toggle button is available for the Tabular View   The filter option  is available to filter by account or component values: Layout Profile - Ratio Display Switch The ‘Enable Ratio Display’ switch allows for the admin user to choose whether or not ratios should be displayed in each layout profile column. Important Notice: Microsoft is ending support for MS SQL 2014 in July 2024.

  As we are sure you are already aware, as of July 9, 2024, Microsoft will officially end support for MS SQL 2014   Why must we upgrade to a later version of MS SQL? End of support means regular security updates will no longer be provided. With cyberattacks becoming more sophisticated and frequent, running applications and data on unsupported versions can create significant security and compliance risks. What does this mean in terms of our investment in IDU? In the future, customers running SQL 2014 or earlier may not have access to new releases of IDU, including new features and functionality released in the system. We would therefore highly recommend that customers upgrade to the most current versions for better performance, efficiency, and regular security updates.
