Release Notes: Version 5.8.2 - New Features & Enhancements

 IDU-Concept Version 5.8.2 introduces several exciting new features, including:

  • Custom theme formatting - available for any theme
  • Custom login background image
  • Layout profile – column drag and drop vs move up and move down
  • Layout Profile Formulas – Summary Level Totals (for carbon footprint budgeting)
  • Enhanced Dashboard features – Ratios and Matrix
  • Project - Account Save Preference – ability to determine how Project and Category level values aresaved to the account
  • Budget Uplift Utility - a range of accounts (Standard, Fixed, Itemised) can be uplifted with a specific percentage based on a current budget or a source fiscal set specified

The following features are now available to the Sales Planning and Sales Reporting modules:

  • Layout profile – column grouping
  • Third Dimension

Important Notice: Microsoft is ending support for MS SQL 2014 in July 2024.

  As we are sure you are already aware, as of July 9, 2024, Microsoft will officially end support for MS SQL 2014   Why must we upgrade to a later version of MS SQL? End of support means regular security updates will no longer be provided. With cyberattacks becoming more sophisticated and frequent, running applications and data on unsupported versions can create significant security and compliance risks. What does this mean in terms of our investment in IDU? In the future, customers running SQL 2014 or earlier may not have access to new releases of IDU, including new features and functionality released in the system. We would therefore highly recommend that customers upgrade to the most current versions for better performance, efficiency, and regular security updates.
