Administrator Module

Financial Budgeting and Reporting

Ratio Grouping

The Dashboard Ratio screen has been changed to scroll view and Ratio groupings can now be customized as required on the dashboard.

Select Add new Group on the button bar to add a new grouping – for example, a group of ratios for a Trial Balance.


 The ratios can be moved within a group by selecting the Move Up and Down arrows.

The ratios can be moved between groups by selecting another group in the dropdown of a “Group” column.


Member Position - User Switch CV

A new User Switch CV – “Disable member transfers with current Position” has been added under Member Remuneration.

 


The Member’s current position (the member can be transferred to a new cost centre/ category with their current position/s) will be displayed according to the switch selection:

If user switch ‘CV - Disable member transfers with current Position’ has not been ticked for the selected user, then the Member’s current Positions will be displayed for selection.

If user switch ‘CV - Disable member transfers with current Position’ has been ticked for the selected user, then the Member’s current Positions will be hidden.

 

Financial Reporting

Layout profile - Dimension Columns

A new Layout Profile column type – Dimension - has been added to the Financial Reporting Module.

Dimension column type allows the admin user to create their own view of the IDU data stored in the database, by defining the various dimensions of the view.

 

 

 Select the ‘Add New’ button to add a new column.

The screen has been changed to scroll view to allow for editing all columns at once, including Column attributes.

 

Selecting the 'View all Dimension Columns' checkbox - all Dimension columns across different Layout Profiles in the Financial Reporting module will be displayed (whether Applied to the selected Layout Profile or not).

When ‘Actuals’ is selected from the ‘Data Set’ dropdown box, ‘Data Set Number’ can be selected as ‘0’ to represent the current year, or up to -10, i.e. 10 years ago.

When ‘Budget/ Forecast Comparative’ or ‘Budget/ Forecast Comparative Adjustment’ is selected from the ‘Data Set’ dropdown box, ‘Data Set Number’ can be selected as “1-5” to represent the Budget/Forecast Comparatives for the selected Reporting Period.

The ‘Data Set Range Number’ represents the amount of quarters, months or optional fields as selected in ‘Data Set Range’ dropdown.

Financial Modelling – Structure Profiles

The Account and Cost Centre Structure Profiles functionality has been added to Financial Modelling module.

In this release the structure profile can only be added for Income Statement Structures.

 


Training Academy Module added

A new Training Academy Module and License have been added for training purposes.

The users will be able to access all Training video content for IDU-Concept if they have been given the Security – User module access to this module.

 

Client Module

Also Search functionality has been added to Financial Modelling screens.

 

Top Down Budgeting columns

"Source % Distribution" and "% Distribution" columns were added to Top Down Budgeting screen for information purposes.

  Administrator Module Financial Budgeting Module Dashboard – New ‘Member Account & Component Recon’ Widget A new dashboard widget has been added to provide a reconciliation between the Member component values and the values rolled up to the budget at cost centre and account level. The toggle button is available for the Tabular View   The filter option  is available to filter by account or component values: Layout Profile - Ratio Display Switch The ‘Enable Ratio Display’ switch allows for the admin user to choose whether or not ratios should be displayed in each layout profile column. Important Notice: Microsoft is ending support for MS SQL 2014 in July 2024.

  As we are sure you are already aware, as of July 9, 2024, Microsoft will officially end support for MS SQL 2014   Why must we upgrade to a later version of MS SQL? End of support means regular security updates will no longer be provided. With cyberattacks becoming more sophisticated and frequent, running applications and data on unsupported versions can create significant security and compliance risks. What does this mean in terms of our investment in IDU? In the future, customers running SQL 2014 or earlier may not have access to new releases of IDU, including new features and functionality released in the system. We would therefore highly recommend that customers upgrade to the most current versions for better performance, efficiency, and regular security updates.
