Financial Budgeting Module

Dashboard – New ‘Member Account & Component Recon’ Widget

A new dashboard widget has been added to provide a reconciliation between the Member component values and the values rolled up to the budget at cost centre and account level.


The toggle button is available for the Tabular View
 

The filter option  is available to filter by account or component values:



Layout Profile - Ratio Display Switch

The ‘Enable Ratio Display’ switch allows for the admin user to choose whether or not ratios should be displayed in each layout profile column.

The switch has been added to “Default Attributes” screen, Dimension and other Layout Profile columns, except Variance Formula and Optional fields.





Unticking the switch will not display the ratio on Client:



Bulk Delete – Search on Global Assumptions

Search boxes were added on Global Assumptions bulk delete popup:


Cross Function Access – Percentage Reallocation, Dynamic Reallocation and Internal Charge

Percentage Reallocation, Dynamic Reallocation and Internal Charge budget type accounts are now also available for cross function account selection:


User Activity Report

User Activity Report now displays the records of the last time the users used a specific module in a specific Company over a period of up to 2 years.



Financial Adjustments Module

Journals - Batch Functionality

Batch functionality allows the users to capture more than one Journal entry for the same cost centre and account combination in a specific reporting period.

The Layout Profile columns have been added so that the user is able to see the IDU Journal values and the ERP Journal Values in two separate columns in the Financial Reporting Module as well as Total both in a separate formula column.



The Journal Recalculation will roll the values from the Journal entry level up to the Layout Profile columns in the Financial Reporting module.

If ‘Month To Date’ is selected in Journal Capture – Settings:

•              The Recalc will create Actual Journal records per Reporting Period/ Cost Centre/ Currency/ Account/ Batch.

If ‘Year To Date’ is selected in Journal Capture – Settings:

•              The Recalc will aggregate the values per Reporting Period/ Cost Centre/ Account/ Currency so that you can compare last month’s total to this month’s total.


Imports added

Journal batches can also be added through “Standard Journal Batch” and “Statistical Journal Batch” imports.


Financial Modelling Module

Balance Sheet and Cash Flow

Balance Sheet and Cash Flow functionality has been added into the Financial Modelling module.

Asset and Liability Posting Accounts are now also available for assumptions setup, unless such accounts have been linked to the Balance Sheet and Cash flow configuration in the selected Financial Modelling fiscal set.



The cash flow menu has been added, similar to Financial Budgeting module, but with the scenario options of the Financial modelling where applicable:




User Switch BC added

Switch ‘BC - Allow capture of balance sheet closing balances’ has been under Financial Modelling – General’ section:



When this switch is selected the user is required to capture closing balances (or YTD values) for Standard or Fixed budget type Balance Sheet accounts (cumulative as opposed to movements).

The Total fields for all the columns will display the Period 12 (or 13/14 depending on company periods) CLOSING BALANCE value.

The following note will display on Client:

Scheduled Export - Button and Screen 

Selecting “Export Page”  button - client exports will now be scheduled if there are more than 500 rows of data. The below prompt will appear if the export has been scheduled.

Once the export was scheduled – selecting the “Scheduled Exports” button will open a new tab where the user can see the progress and open the export once the Scheduled task has been completed.

Ratio Display Switch

The ‘Enable Ratio Display’ switch allows for the admin user to choose whether or not ratios should be displayed in each layout Profile column.

Cross Function Access – Percentage Reallocation, Dynamic Reallocation and Internal Charge

Selecting the Cross Function dropdown will provide filtered access to all cost centre and account combinations which have been linked to the Cross Function security.

It has been added for Percentage Reallocation, Dynamic Reallocation and Internal Charge budget type accounts as well.

Journals - Batch Functionality

Batch functionality allows the users to capture more than one Journal entry for the same cost centre and account combination in a specific reporting period.

Selecting “Add Batch” – multiple batched can be added for the cost centre and account combination.



When the user captures Journal values, those values will display on the Financial Reporting Balances page in the Financial Reporting Module:




Financial Modelling - Balance Sheet and Cash Flow

Balance Sheet and Cash Flow functionality has been added into the Financial Modelling module.

The users can now select Balance sheet and Trial balance account structures.

Clicking the Balance Sheet & Cash Flow Rules button  allows changes to be made to the balance sheet assumptions for a Fiscal Set, if the rules have been defined for the selected Cost Centre.



Selecting the Source Cost Centre Code will bring up the pop up screen where the user is able to change the average days per future year and scenario.
