Release Notes: Version 5.5.2 - New Features & Enhancements

Dashboard – Matrix Widget

This enhancement enables the administrator to create multiple new client dashboard widgets, similar to the ‘Ratio’ widget.

The new menu item “Matrix” has been added under the Profiles tab.

Select “Add New” button to add a Matrix.

The Matrix functionality is available for Financial and Sales Planning modules and Account/Cost Centre or Customer/Product Structures:

Select the ‘Add New Line Item’ context menu option against a ‘Matrix’ row, to create a ‘Line Item’ row (which is similar in a way to the ‘Ratio’ row on the Ratios screen):

Selecting the ‘Add Input’ context menu option against a ‘Line Item’ row, the various inputs and formulas can be added. If ‘Structure Type’ is ‘Cost Centre’ as in example above, then all Summary and Posting Cost Centres linked to the selected Cost Centre Structure will be displayed.

Once a Matrix has been created, it can be linked to a Matrix widget on the Dashboard by the Administrator:

The administrator should then use the widget’s ‘Filter’ option to complete the widget’s configuration, by selecting the relevant Matrix, Account/ Cost Centre/ Product/ Customer to filter the Widget by, as well as the Layout Profile to determine the columns of data that will be displayed on the Widget:
