Administrator Module

Financial Budgeting

Bulk Assign User Module Access

This enhancement allows admin users to assign module licenses quickly and easily to more than one user at a time.

“User Module Access” tab has been added to the Main > License screen:

 


Selecting the “User Module Access” tab - all modules to which the admin user has access in the selected Company will display in the ‘Module’ dropdown box.

If the company is licenced for Financial Budgeting or Financial Reporting “Enquiry Only” licences and the admin user have access, then the arrows for moving users to and from ‘Capture/ Enquiry’ and ‘Enquiry Only’ list boxes will be displayed.

Assigning the access, the selected module will be ticked for each ‘Granted’ user, on the Security > User > Module Access screen.

 


 Layout profile Dimension Columns – Integrated Fiscal Set

 

Dimension column type allows the admin user to create their own view of the IDU data stored in the database, by defining the various dimensions of the view.

Selecting   button - option for an Integrated Fiscal set has been added to the Financial Budgeting layout profile dimension columns.

Select “Data Set Number” -1 for the Prior Year; 0 for the Base Year and 1-5 for Future years 1 to 5.

 


Exchange Rate Import

An admin user can now import the exchange rates.

Fiscal Type, Fiscal Year and Version columns have been added to the Main > Currency > Exchange Rate export.

The export can be used as is for the Exchange Rate import.

 


 

Exchange Rate and Exchange Rate Actual imports have been added under Imports > Main > Currency.

On Exchange Rate import for the integrated fiscal set the “Integrated Import” switch will become available.

Selecting the switch, the same values will be imported in the base and future years.

 


 

Report Section – Allow Reporting Currencies

‘Allow Reporting Currencies’ switch has been added to the Report Section page, to indicate which Report Sections (and consequently, the reports assigned to the Report Sections) can be run using IDU’s Reporting Currencies.

This is applicable for custom reports and few other reports.

Performance and Chart drill down

The performance on loading dashboard charts has improved.

Selecting a Chart header, the user can drill down to the applicable screen and the account will be highlighted:

 

  


Financial Budgeting

Capex Export - Exclude Records with Zero Values

Selecting the Export button on the Capex screen - ‘Exclude Records with Zero Values’ switch is now available for the users to exclude zero values and empty classes from the Capex Export.

Important Notice: Microsoft is ending support for MS SQL 2014 in July 2024.

  As we are sure you are already aware, as of July 9, 2024, Microsoft will officially end support for MS SQL 2014   Why must we upgrade to a later version of MS SQL? End of support means regular security updates will no longer be provided. With cyberattacks becoming more sophisticated and frequent, running applications and data on unsupported versions can create significant security and compliance risks. What does this mean in terms of our investment in IDU? In the future, customers running SQL 2014 or earlier may not have access to new releases of IDU, including new features and functionality released in the system. We would therefore highly recommend that customers upgrade to the most current versions for better performance, efficiency, and regular security updates.
