Administrator Module

Account Description – 150 characters

Account Description now allows up to 150 characters.

 



Comments column on Cost Centre Account Value import

Comments column has been added on Cost Centre Account Value import so the admin user can update the Cost Centre Account comments - same as on Client import.

(However, on Admin the column is called “Notes”).

 


 

Financial Budgeting

Activity Labels - Expand / Collapse

Two new settings have been introduced into the Activity Budget Type:

1.           The ability to expand and collapse labels;

2.           The ability to define Label Inputs as Parent Labels of other Inputs.

“Parent Label” and “Expand Collapse Label” columns have been added under Formatting section on Financial > Activity > Category > Input Access > Item Calculation.

“Parent Label” column displays a dropdown box for each Input, Global Assumption and Global Assumption Group. In each dropdown box the Code – Description of the Label Inputs assigned to the selected Category above the selected input will be available for selection. Up to a 5 levels of label hierarchy can be setup for Parent Labels.

“Expand Collapse Label” column displays a dropdown box for each Label Input. The following options are available:

-             No (no expand/collapse control will be displayed for the label on Client),

-             Expand by default,

-             Collapse by default.


Imports > Financial > Activity > Category Item Calculation import has been amended accordingly to include “Parent Label Code” and “Expand Collapse Label” columns:


 

Member Recalc Enhancement - Filtering and Recalculating new component values

Member Recalculation is now split into two tabs – Standard and Advanced.

Standard tab is for Recalculation Type 1 only:


 

Unticking “All Cost Centres” switch – multi-select control is now enabled to select several posting cost centres at the same time.


Recalculation Types 2 to 4 are now available on the “Advanced” tab.

It is now possible to run a member recalc per Category, Component, Employee State or Employee.

Untick “All Cost Centres” switch for “Enable Summary Cost Centre” switch to become available. Selecting “Enable Summary Cost Centre” switch a user can select a Summary Cost Centre to run the recalc for.

If an admin user wants to increase, for example, % of Pension Contribution for a certain Member Category and apply to all existing employees, it is now possible with this new functionality to first do an adjustment to a that Category and then run Recalc 2 – “Recalculate and overwrite existing component data with defaults” selecting the required category and component.

 


Financial Reporting

Excel Reports – Additional Report Procedures

Three additional stored procedures have been added to Financial Reporting - Summary Excel Report.

These will show detail for different Summary and Posting Cost centre levels. 


The following reports can be displayed on Client.

Activity Labels - Expand / Collapse

Expand/Collapse functionality has been added to Activity Labels.

If a Label has been selected as the ‘Parent Label’ of another input on admin, then:

-             If the ‘Parent Label’ is expanded, then the ‘Child’ Input/ Global Assumption/ Global Assumption Group, will be displayed on screen.

-             If the ‘Parent Label’ is collapsed, then the ‘Child’ Input/ Global Assumption/ Global Assumption Group, will be hidden.

 

Member Performance Improvements

Member/Employee Remuneration screens now load much faster on large setups and Integrated Fiscal sets.

Financial Reporting

Journal View - Summary Views with on screen filters

The   “Journal View” button has now also been added for “Financial Reporting Summary - Account View” and “Financial Reporting Summary – Cost Centre View” modules to make the drill down to journals easier.

Selecting the   button, the new tab will open displaying all journal transactions for all accounts and cost centres in the selected structures.

A Summary Account and Summary Cost Centre filter multi-select dropdowns are available below the tool bar. The user has the capacity to select more than one summary cost centre or account or may select all.


Selecting the ‘View Overview’ option will display the Overview page for the selected Posting Cost Centre Account.

Selecting the ‘View Details’ option against a Journal will display a new tab for the selected Posting Cost Centre Account and month where the selected Journal is visible.
