Administrator Module

Dashboard - Charts

Widget header now displays on the very top of the widget and Chart Parameter/Configuration Options now opens to the right of the chart widget, instead of covering the widget as before.

Hover over the right of the widget, then the header will be hidden, and the icons will display:


New Chart Types added

New Chart Types – Horizontal Bar Chart and Stacked Bar Chart have been added to the system.

For the above setup the “Detail” option of “Data Display” should be selected:


  

Financials - Layout Profile - Dimension

Financial Budgeting and Reporting - Summary Comments

The Comment column can now be added to the classic view screen on Client for Financial Budgeting and Financial Reporting modules. 

“Budget Comment” Data Set option has been added to Profiles - Layout Profile - Layout Profile – Dimension.

Bulk Delete Projects at Fiscal Set Level

The ability to bulk delete projects at a fiscal set level has been added to the system.

On Financials > Project > Project selecting the Bulk Delete  button the user can now untick the “All Fiscal Sets” tick box and select only a fiscal set that is required to delete the projects from:

 


Selecting “Export data as backup before Bulk Delete” 


The below export file will be provided: 


 

Sales Planning

Run Rate Enhancement - Select Specific Prior Periods

Users can now select specific prior periods for Run Rate Parameters in Sales Planning module.

The Run Rate Parameters imports and exports were amended to include the columns “Escalation or Use Month” and “Prior Year”:

Financials

Financial Budgeting and Reporting - Summary Comments

If setup on Admin, the Comment column can now be displayed on Classic view on all Financial Budgeting and Financial Reporting screens.


 Also, on account drill down on a Summary Account view:


When the User selects a Summary or Posting level Account and clicks on the Comment icon in the Comment Column then a pop-up will display for a comment capture:

 


 The Summary Comment will also be available for Standard and Fixed budget type accounts:

 


 

Sales Planning

Run Rate Enhancements - Select Specific Prior Periods

Users can now select specific prior periods for Run Rate Parameters in Sales Planning module.

Clicking on a Posting Product that has a Straight or Compound run rate spread factor selected - the ‘Number of Months’ menu option has been changed to ‘Months’.

The included periods will be highlighted in pink.

The client import and export were updated accordingly. 

The users can select/ deselect any months and the calculation for the open forecast periods would now be the average of the selected Actual periods for Straight run rate and Compound run rate will only include the selected periods.

  Administrator Module Financial Budgeting Module Dashboard – New ‘Member Account & Component Recon’ Widget A new dashboard widget has been added to provide a reconciliation between the Member component values and the values rolled up to the budget at cost centre and account level. The toggle button is available for the Tabular View   The filter option  is available to filter by account or component values: Layout Profile - Ratio Display Switch The ‘Enable Ratio Display’ switch allows for the admin user to choose whether or not ratios should be displayed in each layout profile column. Important Notice: Microsoft is ending support for MS SQL 2014 in July 2024.

  As we are sure you are already aware, as of July 9, 2024, Microsoft will officially end support for MS SQL 2014   Why must we upgrade to a later version of MS SQL? End of support means regular security updates will no longer be provided. With cyberattacks becoming more sophisticated and frequent, running applications and data on unsupported versions can create significant security and compliance risks. What does this mean in terms of our investment in IDU? In the future, customers running SQL 2014 or earlier may not have access to new releases of IDU, including new features and functionality released in the system. We would therefore highly recommend that customers upgrade to the most current versions for better performance, efficiency, and regular security updates.
