Client Module

Financial Budgeting

Budget Uplift Feature

For Standard and Fixed budget types, the Budget Uplift Feature allows for a user to uplift an account with a specific percentage based on:

•  Source fiscal set specified – which can be Budget/Forecast Comparative 1 or 2. If the Source Fiscal Set is different to the Target Fiscal Set, then the ‘Uplift’ task will increase or decrease the selected Cost Centre Account values in the ‘Target Fiscal Set’ by the percentages specified, based on the values in the ‘Source Fiscal Set’. Capture "0" for no increase or decrease to the Source fiscal set values

•  The Current budget on the fiscal set. This will allow budget cuts (for example -5%) or increases on existing budgets.

Right-click on the Standard or Fixed account and select the “Uplift” option:

For Manual spread factor the % can be set per month:

For any other Spread factor only Total % is available for capture:

Delay Depreciation Start Date

This enhancement allows for a delay in the start of the depreciation calculation.

When adding a new asset on Client, a new option “Start Depreciating Asset In” has been added to the right click menu.

If the asset is budgeted to be bought in July but only to start using in e.g. 2 months’ time, and thus only want to start depreciating the asset in September, then the user can select the below option.

In that way the Acquired Asset depreciation will only start calculating from September.
