Financial Modelling Fiscal Set - Structure Selection and Sync

The Top-Down Financial Modelling Fiscal Set supports the selection of the account and cost centre structure to use for Top-Down Capture.

This structure selection capability has now been extended to the Assumption Based Fiscal Set.

Enhancements to Synchronization and Fiscal Set Linking

1. Targeted Synchronization for Default Structures

Synchronization is now restricted to accounts and cost centres within default structures linked to Top-Down and Assumption-Based Fiscal Sets.

• Only these accounts and cost centres will be set to zero before synchronization.

• Accounts within the default account structure will be assigned the Standard budget type.

• All other accounts will retain their original budget types and underlying budget data and values.

2. Expanded Fiscal Set Linking

A single Fiscal Set can now be designated as a destination linked fiscal set across multiple Financial Modelling sets.

•  Previously, each Fiscal Set could only sync from one Financial Modelling set.

• This update enables users to configure multiple Financial Modelling Assumption and Top-Down sets, each updating distinct cost centre and account structures.

3. Improved Budget Type Flexibility

With structure filters in place, users can now utilize normal budget type functionality (e.g., for Activity or Members) within the same destination Fiscal Set, while maintaining control over account-specific updates.
