Recurring Journals Picture 1, Picture

Journal Batches marked as ‘Recurring’ are now auto generated by the system based on the defined frequency and continue until the specified End Year and End Period.

Journals are created automatically with each new Reporting Period that exceeds the original journal’s period.

These system-generated entries are locked for editing, preserving data integrity.

Admin users can delete them if required. If the originating journal remains, deleted batches will be automatically restored during Journal Recalculation.

ReversingPicture 1, Picture  and Reversal Picture 1, PictureJournals

Journal Batches marked as ‘Reversing’ now trigger the automatic creation of reversal entries in the designated Reporting Period.

Reversal entries mirror the original journal in structure and reverse the transaction amounts.

For example, the ‘Reversing’ Journal Batch totalled 100 USD will automatically create ‘Reversal’ Journal Batch of -100 USD.

Reversal Journals are also locked for editing but can be deleted by an admin. They will be regenerated by the system if the original batch still exists upon Journal Recalculation.

The same is applicable for “Statistical Journal” tab.

Selecting Add New button - the admin user can select the following Recurrence (One time, Recurring, Reversing) and Frequency (Monthly, Quarterly, Manually) for the Journal Batch:

Note! New journal batches added on client will be automatically assigned to the Default category with "One Time" Recurrence and Frequency, Journal Batch’s ‘Actual Year’ as the ‘End Year’ and Journal Batch’s ‘Period as the ‘End Period’.
